Pan Africa Transportation and Infrastructure Network

Overview

CivTek International has developed a multi-faceted program that delivers real hope to the continent of Africa by extending tangible business, educational, and sustainable civil infrastructure to remote regions. Green energy, clean water, electricity, waste management, and transportation infrastructure will all create great opportunities to enhance the general health and welfare of African peoples.

Rail Access for Landlocked Nations

Fifteen of Africa’s forty-seven countries currently have no access to the ocean. These landlocked nations include:

  • Botswana
  • Burkina Faso
  • Burundi
  • Central African Republic
  • Chad
  • Ethiopia
  • Lesotho
  • Malawi
  • Mali
  • Niger
  • Rwanda
  • Swaziland
  • Uganda
  • Zambia
  • Zimbabwe

The initial phase of this program’s rail network will connect sixteen (16) countries to the Indian Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, and the Mediterranean Sea.

Transportation Backbone

The foundation of this initiative is a modern, environmentally conscious, elevated passenger train system capable of speeds up to 300 mph (500 km/h). Alongside it, a separate elevated freight rail system will span approximately 15,000 miles (24,140 km).

A 200-mile-wide Economic Development Zone (EDZ) — 100 miles on each side of the rail corridor — will accompany this infrastructure. This zone will be adapted to local conditions, social groups, and natural resource areas.

Secondary Access

Similar to the ribs of a fishbone, secondary low-cost elevated rail lines will connect nearby communities to the mainline. All communities within 100 miles (161 km) of the main corridor will have access to the national system. These corridors will also serve as conduits for essential utilities throughout the EDZ.

Economic and Educational Engagement

Within the Economic Development Zones, CivTek International will:

  • Support local entrepreneurs and small business growth
  • Provide construction skills and business training programs
  • Establish internet hubs and cultural centers for global connectivity

Planning and Execution

CivTek International will manage and execute all:

  • Pre-feasibility and feasibility studies
  • Business plans
  • Engineering and environmental reports
  • Systemwide design, development, and construction
