Pan Africa Transportation and Infrastructure Network
Fifteen of Africa's forty-seven countries have no access to the ocean. The landlocked countries include Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Ethiopia, Lesotho, Malawi, Mali, Niger, Rwanda, Swaziland, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The initial phase of this program's rail network will connect sixteen (16) countries to the Indian and Atlantic Oceans, and to the Mediterranean Sea. The program's backbone is a modern, low environmental footprint, innovative, robust, high speed, up to 300 mph (500 kilometers per hour) elevated passenger train system. Combined in the same corridor will be another innovative elevated freight train system approximately 15,000 miles (24,140 km) in length. We will facilitate an approximately 200 mile (322 km) wide Economic Development Zone (EDZ) 100 miles (161 km) to either side of the rail alignment. This zone will travel farther as necessary to accommodate social groups and nearby natural resources. Like the ribs on a fish bone, secondary low cost elevated rail will provide market opportunity to access the mainline continental rail system for all peoples within 100 miles (161 km) of the mainline train system. The right-of-way for this system will carry all utilities to serve the Economic Development Zone. Within these economic zones, we will engage the business and educational needs by helping local people start and grow their own businesses though opportunities with our projects. We will operate construction skills and business skills training programs to ensure people are equipped by excellent training and education. In addition, the internet access and cultural centers we'll provide will connect all people to the global community.
